Angry you guys are lucky!

You southern striper hounds are some lucky. The first of March is upon us and you southerners will soon be able to begin your fishing season. Up here in the great white north it is currently 6 degrees with a 20mph n/w wind. There is four feet of snow on the ground with at least another foot due tomorrow night. The point of this spiel being, it will be at least mid May before the first of the stripers show up. The real fishing won't begin until memorial day when our herring run gets going. So when you guys in the the sunny south cry about not being able to fish untill April just think of your poor northern brothers whom have to wait two months longer. Maybe you won't feel quite so bad.
