I did build a rat rod and bought the supplies from beach and bay tackle. He gave me the specs the rod cast great with a ounce/ ounce and a half. But unfortunetly it was stolen. The blank was a Lami smb84 2f. The guides were stacked up top , there were only four, 2 stainless 60mmand 40mm. Then two oxide and the tip. The secret was to put the stripping guide a good distance from the reel seat. I beleive it was something like 40 inches. It looked funny but work. I no longer have the exact measurements.
