I feel for those that live 100 miles or more from the Cape or any seashore for that matter. 21 Years ago I chose to move to the Cape because the writing was on the wall as far as real estate prices were going ( my mortgage payment is only $424.00 a month with taxes), gas lines in the 70's and 80's foretold higher demand and higher prices. I own a smAll SUV ( 2 Door Blazer S-10 HY-RYDER ZR-2, a small boat ( 14' foot Mirrocraft 1969 deep fishermen model with a 2003 18 HP Nissan electric start 2 stroke that runs two days on 6.5 galllons of reg. gas.) The canal is 11 minutes from my House, Barnstable Harbor 20 minutes, Ramp in Woods Hole to launch to fish the Elizabeths 10 minutes, Nauset 35 minutes and Race Point 55 minutes. Oh yeah, the ramp in East Falmouth to launch to fish for Albies and Bonito is 5 minutes away. The way I see it if gas goes to 2.50 a gallon I still

got it #^^^^&ed!
