We use a heavily modified 25ft RoMarine for our research vessel (URI Geosciences "r/v Gilbert"

Great boat, lots of deck space, solidly built hull...

- A bit wet, we have a small cuddy on ours and the windsheild is wet alot..
- A bit hard in the chop, she isnt graceful, but I have no doubts about her ability, just not a 'cushy' boat...
- Heavy, on our 25' we run a 200hp optimax and cruise at ~25kts dont under power them if you want speed
