In the Globe it portrays it as only a proposal at this time and would only be as a pilot experiment for certain bars located in hotels. Of course, it is being faced with great opposition from some up-tight politicians with higher political ass-perations on their agenda by opposing it. Still needs to be voted on by the legislature before it can be enacted. One politician was quoted to the effect of "if people wanna drink in bars until 4 in the morning, then Boston is not the place for it. Go to NY".
This state sucks.
