I make all my plugs out of AYC. The dannys float well and when I want them to sink into the mid-water column I load them a certain way.
I even make my needles out of AYC and load them further back with a lot more lead when I want a sinker. By loading further back they sink tail first and dart underwater with a jerk and stop retrieve.
