Likwid - I beleive the problem is that the pixel shape is different between a TV and PC system. A converter of some sort is needed to change that, especially when analog is used.
I say "I Belieive" as this is really at the edge of my PC/TV knowledge as I have not started an HTPC / PVRPC project yet
