I've found in the past when I only put on one coat of primer..lt. sand then hit with gloss paint that it did the same thing. something in the metalic/gloss paint that helps the sparkle's float to the surface attacks the primer where the sandpaper has broken the surface tension of the primer...now I do two coats of primer..first one get's sanded ,,the second one doesn't get sanded,,no more bubble's/crazing....I beleive whatever is in the gloss paint attacks the sealer under the primer when it get's the chance to do so....so I now use very little gloss at all and stick with flat paint's. the clearcoat will bring the color's up.

BOAT fish do count.
