Figured I'd bring this post up from the dead since I just built 2 SW1209's for a friend and they both broke in the same spot. One broke on the very 1st cast, other on about half dozen casts. Not a happy camper right now

I know for sure it was not user error because I was with him when the 2nd one broke. He was getting ready to cast a 1.5oz. Popper and..POW!!! I also know he didn't damage it transporting it, since he had it in his car, unless of course these blanks are sensative to cloth seats...
Now let's see how much this one will cost me to keep him as a friend!! WTF!
BTW: I also had one blow up on me last year on the 1st cast.
