Urine Trouble
To pee or not to pee?
by Jerome B. Robinson
Your own fresh urine is an excellent sterile antiseptic to use on small cuts, burns, insect bites, and other skin maladies that occur when you are without medical supplies. Produced by your own body, it is unlikely to infect you with foreign bacteria. Urine was commonly used as an antiseptic before the advent of modern pharmacology. Be sure to apply a modern antiseptic and visit your doctor if necessary once you get out of the woods.
