It was about 60 on Plum Island today. I went fishing in the later part of the afternoon. I was using fresh clams *( Surfland recommended fresh clams, because reports of cod being caught in this area )* My friend always using frozen Mackrel, and it seems to be working. Well it did last year for him. His biggest striper off the island was 33in. I have some questions about lures,leaders,etc...I will post another post for those questions though.
