I've never fished Nantucket, but to me, Great Point sounds a lot lot Wasque in the old days, when the rip wasn't the way it is now, and was on the southwest side of the Leyland property. Full of googans chasing blues by day, but empty at night. Try it on a late night tide, drag a bucktail or jig/plastic thru the bottom of it and see what shakes out
I've released more 30+ fish from Wasque back then than I've caught at most other places.
It's worth at least one try, methinks.
