Hi #^&#^&#^&#^&#^&#^&. I read your post and yes you say "Better yet.....heavier jig......" I'm just following up by asking why he doesn't go with that idea. I guess the answere is he has lots of 1 oz jigs and nothing else.
My suggestion , fish somewhere else till he gets some heavier jigs!
