Rare cape trip for me!

Seeing as my mother in law just baught a new house on the cape and my wife, has been there all week, I figured I would go last night and give well wishes and then head out fishing, With the Nor-east blow I figured it would be not at my regular jaunts so why not try the cape? Well, With my wife in tow last night we ended up at a spot that just had me drooling when I saw it, most of the guys were leaving at sunset saying there were no fish and not to waste my time, the place emtied out! I had this awsome water all to myself? On the 4th cast I had a bass about 18lbs---17 fish later and I would say those guys were wrong I had non stop action from 9 till 1:30am with bass from 5lbs up to 20lbs most fish were small but 6 of the 17 were high teens, I had countless other hits..Countless and no bluefish..All on eels, to bad the wife got tierd are I would still bee there Heading back there with Steve on Sunday night!! So for the guys who say the cape is "slow" I am having trouble understanding that? There were so many fish in this place last night it was like they had just stocked it!! From what I saw and this is only my opinion, these guys leave way to early, I mean sunset? its not even dark yet?? And of course I was only using eels, I was on the lee side of the cape so the water was flat and wind over back. It was fun to catcxh some bass at the cape , I have not cought anythere in about 7 years.....
