Actually, while I followed part of the other thread, and did not think that fish was twenty pounds but maybe 15 (could have been a bad angle photo and a real tall guy). SCL is a nice guy, I'm pretty sure I met him once, but I don't think that fish was 20#s either. He is a nice guy and really digging surfcasting, good for him, he's happy that has been his biggest fish so far this year, well. I haven't broken 10 pounds in the past three weaks so he's kicking my ass . Now I don't want to sound like an arse but a lot of fish are pictured and posted that do not look like the weights that people say they are. Sometimes it is intentional by bragging and sometimes it is not, thru guessing or a less than appropriate weighing. Often, it's a lousy picture. He says it was caught from a camera phone - that very well could distort the picture to make it look like that. I used to overestimate weights - most of have - a while back before I impproved at guessing weight (and carrying a scale). But as the picture is represented, in my opnion it is not a 20#er. A 36 inch TWENTY pounder is a fat fish. Could be the pic, I dunno... But he is happy with the fish. Good for SCL.

Beach - you do not need to play the good cop or the bad cop. If you have a problem with a post, report it to a moderator.

I'll talk to him too but I don't think he was "beating" on him, arrogant, yes, beating him up? No. Then the usual pigpile started up.

So let's quit the bitching and move on...
