Some things will never change! About 40 yrs. ago I was fishing with my dad at Horseshoe Shoals for blues. 100 yds. of wire and jig-it-eel or hoochie was the hot set up. One of better known "tin boat" guys (who shall remain nameless) had on a big blue that was breaking water about 50 yds. behind his boat. Along comes a big sportfisherman and it proceeds to cross his stearn about 20 yds. behind said tin boat. Despite a lot of waving and yelling "the captain" cuts him off without even trying to change course. The loss of 50 yds. of wire, a hoochie and a 12 lb. blue (worth at least 20 cents a pound, gutted) sent the guy over the edge. (He was a little close to the edge to begin with!) He proceeds to crank up the 40 rude on the old 14 ft.starcraft and pulls 20 feet off the stearn of the sportfisherman; grabs all 4 lines with his gaff, hacks them off with his knife, handlines the lures in and throws them in his boat. Not a word from the big boat!!
