I once forgot to remove about 5 lbs of squid on my boat that sat on the mooring for 4-5 days baking in the sun. Got a call from the marina saying someone died on my boat. That was the worst thing I've smelled in a long time.
My buddies son actually yakked before we got out of the dingy.
Maybe it was my imagination, but I still got a hint of that smell a couple of years later when I sold the boat.
