Bruc, if it's the new version with the hex fitting on the handle housing, it's easy to do yourself.

The real beech is getting an older one open.

Don't worry about the warranty. As Jeff said, almost everything in the damn things are "wear and tear" items

If you can afford 11 reels, why not just buy one, use it for a year, junk it and replace it? Keep the spool for a spare. It costs less than getting all 11 serviced every year
