Took my niece (7) and her lil cousin (6) out this weekend to fish for a couple hours. They got lil stuff breaking out in front of them so I get their lines out(the casting accuracy thing is still being worked on by the kids). And they're WICKED excited. Some TOOL comes and casts DIRECTLY over them!!! and tangles them up. I totally forgot myself for the next 5 minutes as I raged at this moron I stopped myself when I looked over at the kids and they were wicked sad..then I grrr I was ready to go with this guy... Then the dude taunts me and I was ready for it.. I calmed down a bit and told the dude look man they;re just lil kids no need to cast over them, thats all. Its not like you didnt see the kids holding their rods there, and Im sure you saw the lil fish breakin in front of them. I was soo pissed man who does that to lil kids? I totally blasted the guy with some verbage that man I think a few folks learned a few new 4 letter words that day...
I got the kids to relax and got their lines back in the water and the dude comes over and says he's sorry etc etc, but I mean c'mon who casts directly over a 6 yr old and a 7yr old. Hell if it was me he was casting over I wouldnt care, Id just cut his line. Not acceptable, what kills me is that the kids saw me act that way
But you guys know Im not the type to keep quite when I dont like something thats going on.
