The big question I had was what was the dreaded mung situation on the cape???? When you travel 8 hours to fish an area that you have come to love you hope to have some advice.
I can't speak to Wellfleet, but the Truro and Race area is pretty mungy. There are a few clear spots. A charter friend fishing the area reported a lot of weed (mung) in the water. The forecasted N/NE winds will only make it worse pushing the mung up near the beaches. Phillipe (TS/Hurricane) is an unpredicable factor.

Prolly worth going (I hear there are fish around)...but the number of available spots to fish could be very limited. Also, if yer boat fishing, the back has huge swells right now.

Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.
