I'm headed to the Race and Truro for a full week of fishing tomorrow (Saturday). Latest word is that the Seashore is open and the cuts aren't too bad heading from the ranger station to High Head. However, it is VERY weedy (eel grass and mung combined) so the amount of real estate to fish from the beach is very limited. Also, the bait is scarce. We also have some east winds in the near forecast which will just make the beaches worse. Oh well, I can alway jump in my boat.
Was out in the boat on Thursday getting bluefish for tuna bait. Ran from the bath house well beyond High Head and almost to the Coast Guard station in Truro looking for blues. Had to work very hard, but got our bait. I saw much, much weed in the water and not a lot of activity seen (birds etc.). But I got the week off from work so I gotta go. I'll try to post an update during the week (no spot burning though

)
