i was working on some shapes.

let me know if you got any better ideas. i was thinking of plexi for the wings or maybe stainless lip matirial. was also toying with a huge jitterbug shaped lip but not sure how it will swim? |
Yes sir, that's what I was thinking too! Plexi for the wings and I have sheets of silver mylar that I have been putting on the underside of the wings and bodys of my birds. You should see the reflectivity in the water. Like Diamonds! I was thinking of making daisys out of shaped wooden bodies like pencil poppers in reverse with a larger specimen on the back with the stinger. Big eyes on 'em and pink/gold/purple or chartreuse/yellow gold/pearl combos. Gonna be a good winter season down in the basement workshop!
