Question Back from Cuttyhunk, Heading to Block

Friends,

Just spent 24 hours on the Hunk gathering my gear, closing up the house, and doing a little fishing.

I only got out for an hour or so last night and this morning and got one schoolie. The run off from the clay cliffs has really fouled up the water on the south side. You can't see more than a foot underwater. The north side was a little better but only the one fish. The boats that went out over the past two days did well on the Pigs though there are some serious rollers out there.

I'd appreciate any thoughts on Block Island that people want to share considering the rain, wind (NE 15-35 knts), and big surf conditions for the next five days. I'm heading out on Wednesday returning on Tueasday. We will be staying within walking distance of Snake Hole. Will the south side of Block be as fouled up as Cuttyhunk from the rain run off? Our plan was to fish the south side mostly from Snake Hole to Black Rock and westward but I'm wondering if we should be heading north, east or west instead...

Thanks in advance for any feedback.
