These fish are awesome! I know Capn D and he has been using them quietly all season long, with great success both inshore and offshore. The 52 he got Monday night was ahead of that Noreaster, and he was within sight of every car passing over the Newport Bridge(no spot burn here) granted they would have needed binoculars and night vision, but it goes to show you that big fish still roam these waters well into the fall. That 52 pic is posted at Sammys in Middletown, weighed in the following day around noon. Probably went 56 or 57 the night before>
