See my post in the other thread on this subject. One comment regarding the MRFSS, wouldn't you expect the CPUE to to down with all of the new fishermen entering the fishery? I don't recall the numbers, but in the last several years there has been a huge increase in the number of fishermen pursuing the stripers.
