I have a couple of penn spinning reels 5500 and a shimano stradic so I'm all set on spinning for now.

We do a fair amount of flukin thru the summer and toggin now so I'd like a bottom setup but if I went conventional, I could do both, bottom fish and cast sometimes, right?

I have never used a conventional. Is the 965 conv? Are handles reversable on conv? I fish lefty, most of my guests are righty.
