I have no idea where that run is, but I found 2 new(to me anyway) areas to get herring by studying a street atlas then getting in the car and scouting out the areas. I looked for areas where the river narrowed or where there is a dam. Not hard, just follow the river upstream from the ocean. Hope this helps!
