Geez, who on the Vineyard doesn't live within 2 miles of some coast or another? And, my understanding is, that unless you have a flood rider, they wouldn't have to pay if your house was washed away anyway.
One company dropped me because my front steps---all two of them
----don't have a railing. There isn't a single house on my block with railings on their front steps. None of them have more than 4 steps.
