Install one of the original sticks into each slot until the system boots. Once you have gotten that far, be sure to put the next stick in and verify that it boots. That machine is new enough that you should not need to go into the bios and "recognize" the memory.

What kind of memory is it? DDR? Rambus? SDRAM?

You also may have knocked something else lose so verify everything else is tight.
