I'll testify to the effectiveness of both builder's plugs. Afterhours' top water squid plug was dynamite during the spring squid run, and more effective than other plugs. Bernzy's Surf Hootie in yellow has been a first rate fall plug for me. I can't believe how hard bass of all sizes hit it. We fisherman are fortunate both builders sell their stuff, but throwing them at bluefish......................ouch!
