Weighting Sluggos
Years ago I purchased some "insiders" which are small flat lead weights with a small hole drilled through the top that are used inside tube baits. They can also be used to weight a texposed sluggo. Slide the hook through the nose of the sluggo, slip one or a few weights on through the hole so they dangle down from the hook and insert the hook back in the sluggo to finish the texposing. They even rattle abit when they bang each other.. Never had a issue with them coming off or affecting the hook set and its easy to adjust weight by slipping the hook out..adding or subtracting a weight
