Al's fishing skills are only surpassed by his nice & friendly personality! A real surf- fishing good- guy!
And being very familiar with where he took his 46 lber on 8 lb. test-- as there are obstructions & snags galore, this was truly an amazing catch/ feat! Much more impressive than if done on a sandy beach! And in early May yet-- so true those great fish hit when least expected! You were sure ready though that night, Al! Congrats-- & more importantly, well- earned! NO "luck" in that fish!
