JOHN R: I have a friend that worked on a dragger out of chatham . Being the stern man he got to through back all unwanted b-catch. Well he told me he through back [dead] 125 s.bass , all were around 25-35#. he doesn't b.s.
MY friend next door had a charter boat, they were about 40 mil. off chatham, when they spotted what looked like foam on the water, when they got up to it they saw nothing but dead & half dead bass floating around everywhere. he said there were draggers around.
IT happens more often than you think. but you need to know the guy's that work out there to find these things out. their not about to tell the dmf.
