My boat is a 1975 Pacemaker 26SF. It's a 350 single inboard, and weighs about 10,000 w/the trailer..... there is no chance it will go even close to 45mph. The guy I bought it from said the top speed might be 22 knots in calm seas....w/ a tail wind...empty gas tanks... and one person aboard! I think it will be a good starter boat. I have 2 GPS units ( a garmin quest and a GPSMAP 60C) and a depthfinder. Boat came w/ a new submersable handheld VHF and another one mounted in the boat. I will do thorough radio ops checks prior to relying on them.
