I always fish a certain "stage" of the tide. I do this because I learned the fish just aren't where I fish at various tidal stages. I go at night if the tidal stage I like to fish is "right". I go in the day if the tidal stage is right. I like to fish 3-4 tides before I finally pack it in for home. I've caught some nice ones between 11:00 P.M. and 4:00 A. M., I've cought some nice ones at noon, depends on the tide .
The tide brings, and takes the fish.
