I think "been there, done that" has alot to do with it.
I like cloudy, overcast days with a little "drizzle" in the summer and fall. I'll fish then.

Those late season blues in Buzzards Bay were always fun to catch in November, big suckers.

My old bones can't take it any more. I'll take warm summer breezes over rain and cold. I just sit there now, look out the window and think to myself "I should be fishing", then, turn the heat up a little and go back to bed.

I guess it would be different if I was a commercial fisherman who goes when they can get out, no matter what the weather. Hmmm
