Skip, that's because you don't take the time to
understand alternate viewpoints. It doesn't mean you have to agree with them, but when you have a multi-faceted understanding you might just find the truth is in the middle and not beneath your feet.
Blindly defending a position that defies objective thought is exactly what the GOP propaganda machine has programed you to do. You don't need to think because they will do the thinking for you.
