Truth be told.... I carry only these things

Gatorade - In my waders.
Pliers - In my pocket
1 rod.
Soft cooler full of eels.
Maybe a granola bar
And a 3 tube plug bag on my wading belt.

No need to bring 40 plugs. A swimmer a needle and some rubbah.
