Go with a 5/32. Fits nose grommet and a sturdier drill than 1/8. Also go with an aircraft drill, less flute length. I am not a fan of those brad point drills with the long flutes. You will never get the chips to flow down the flutes much more than 3/4 of and inch before it starts to heat up so no need for all the flute. Much less flute length equals less flex and more strength. M&D's has them. Peck away at the wood, relieve the chips frequently or it will heat up the drill and wood and it will walk. Get a short length drill same size to start then go on to longer length drill. Good luck. P.
