Redfish are fun at times you can find them bottom feeding in the flats with their tail in the air. But they are easily spooked try a jig head with a plastic shrimp tail use the smelly jelly also. The color that has worked well for me in the shrimptail are chart w/glitter in it with a red tail and red body w/white tail. Also if you have a chance down there look for cocahoe lures its a type of minnow lure gold body green back has done me well. Good luck. Redfish is good eat'in try it blackened
