I also think you're being too hard on yourself. In the heat of the moment, most of us wish to exact revenge upon those who have done us wrong. Usually by the next morning, you calm down and realize that in many instances, there's nothing you can do about it. The fact that you're able to recognize it and show restraint tells me that you're a good role model for your children.
I've never met you Goose, but based on your posts that I've read here on S-B.com I think you're a good person, father, and sportsman. And no matter how you perceive some of your post regrets, I don't think anyone here thinks any less of you either. Stop beating yourself up and take me 'tog fishing soon.
