Only Hendrix & Gilmour were at or above Duanes' level!
In fact, Duanes' work on Claptons' Layla album alone surpassed any music or guitar- playing by the Skynyrd boys (great in their own right, no doubt) IMHO. Duane was as important-- or more so-- than Clapton on that album...
