Exactly what Flap sais. It is unfortunate that many public schools are like this, particularly in middle and high school, but the administrators need to know when stuff like this happens and they sometimes need to be leaned on (in a nice way) to make sure they stay on a problem.

There is a difference from keeping your mouth closed on a small infraction, but far differenet when a student is wielding a weapon with malice towards you. It is not a call that you should need to make, bump it upstairs to the admins and let them deal with it. Sounds like this kid has more than just this problem - it is a shame really as it happens unfortunatley with a LOT of kids these days.


Also good time to implement a little bit of a buddy system where you have a few freinds around when you can. It does limit chances for things to go wrong.

I see on a near daily basis what middle school admins and to a bit lesser extend, high school admins
go through on a daily basis. It can get pretty tough...
