I appreciate your input Saltheart. I still think I'll go with the 10' . I have been using a custom Sabre for a few years (eeling,plugs,jigs and some cut bait) I think the model is 1088 but not sure. Alot of people at the Ditch comment that it seems like too light a rod if I hook into a big bass.
