I would agree that a 1088 is light for the canal and at minimum you would want a 1089 or 1209 if you are running Sabers at the Ditch... But those Sabers are very nice inexpensive rods... Lets see, maybe I'll build a 1209 this year in addition to my Original "PLUM" colored Saber 1088 :P ... 'Course I still need to finnish my 1088 All Star
