Just trying to figger out which hook on a pencil popper or a needle catches most fish. In my experience the front hook does most of the catching, and I beleive that to be due to my thinking that bass strike prey head first. On occasion a fish will get the rear hook from a pencil, but that seems to be the case when the fish made a half hearted swipe at the plug. Just trying to get some feedback to settle an arguement.
