Huge Stripers on the Kennebec River
We are catching 20-30lb fish every day on top water baits. The blueback herring and shad run is in full swing up here and we have the stripers to prove it. Large spwning females are filling up on the herring right now and making them quite easy to catch. Every trip out we're hooking into stripers in the 40 lb range. If anyone is interested in fishing part of the heaviest concentration of big fish in the North East....come up to Maine and hit the Kennebec. I suggest you give John Reynolds a call @ 207-445-5640.
