I am going to sign up just participate in the first Schaefer Trophy being offered in a long time. I wouldn't be surprised if OTW is showing respect for the grand dame of all new england fishing tournaments, the MVSB & B tourney, by having 9/17 as its closing date. They probably dont want a fish being weighed in in both venues. It could take first place prizes in both tourneys taking the wind out of one or the other tounanments.
