Thanks everyone, you've all been very helpful and it is much appreciated. I went and talked to Ron today, Great guy. I got the Shimano 6500B and a 9' Penn rod at his suggestion. Spent more than I wanted but hey, this is what I love to do!

Going out tonight to test it out, Love the feel of it.
