Go earlier and come sunup, maybe fish slower and deeper. Sometimes in the heat of the day you will be surprised at what you might catch in 5 feet of water under a bright summer sun

. I've nailed too many keepers with those last few casts before heading back into the harber, so it's not a fluke that some big ones like to be up with the tide and crabbing or hunting little lobsters.
